Basic CakePop

Busy, Busy, Busy with Cake Pops and Parties!  This Cake Pop is a basic Cake Pop I made for a Christmas gathering last week. I love the chevron pattern!!!

Basic Cake Pops can be made with virtually any flavor cake and either white chocolate or milk chocolate coating. The Cake Pops pictured here were a spice cake center with butter rum chocolate coating.  Let me tell you they were delish!

It’s Friday, Friday…

Today’s Cake Pop feature is the Snowball Cake Pop!!!  My son wakes up every morning looking for snowflakes.  When I pick him up from school he asks if it is going to snow that night.  Poor kid wants some SNOW!  This Cake Pop was inspired by my little JOJO.  Chocolate Cake Ball with White Chocolate Frosting and Sprinkles.  Bring on the snow!!!

CakeTruffles and Cake Pops are here!!!

I am sooo excited to share all of the fun designs “poppin” up around here.  I will be updating the blog almost daily with new designs.  For my first share it had to be the S’More Pop.  I am in love with S’mores so making a S’more Cake Pop was definitely at the top of my list.  Devils Food Cake with Chocolate Buttercream Icing, hand-rolled and topped with a swirl of Marshmallow Fluff.  Finally a good healthy dip into pure Chocolate Candy Coating and dusted with Graham Cracker Crumbs.  Goes great with a cup of hot cocoa.  Orders are being taken via the email link above.

Keep Calm and get your Thanksgiving on!

Thanksgiving is six days away! Can you believe it?  I had to share this oh so adorable printable from Craftily Ever After. The best part is…..it’s free!

Print yours here! Jazz up your dessert table, dinner table or mantle with this wonderful print!  A simple black 8×10 frame from the dollar store and you are good to go!

I will be putting mine on our breakfast bar along with our classic Farrell Family Thanksgiving Day breakfast, while we watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade of course!

Happy Friday!!!!

It’s official! So excited……..

My first post!!!!! I can’t believe everything is coming together so nicely. I am putting my heart and soul into this and it makes me so happy everyday.  I am looking forward to sharing lots of party inspiration, DIY ideas and designs from upcoming events I am styling.

I have found some of the most creative people along this journey. I would like to thank April from April Showers for her awesome blog design, Logo Design Guru for my logo and Jess from The Sassy Monkey for my business cards. I would like to thank my amazing husband for his endless support, taste testing, photography and mostly being my sounding board. My kids are my life and being a Mama is my first love.  I have such wonderful, funny, caring, crazy kids and most days they make me absolutely nuts but the love we have for one another is what I value most.  My Mom is my rock and I thank her for everything she has done and does. My siblings for being forced to eat my fine confections during our youth at my famous at home eatery “Sara’s Booger Barn”.  I also have to thank my Nana and Poppy for always letting me help in the kitchen.  This is where my love of sweets started and I will treasure the memories of Sugar Pie forever :)

Last but not least Starbucks…..nuff said.

Sweet Dreams,

Sara
